Location: AGC Heavy Highway Chapter – Lincoln, Nebraska

Compensation: $50,000-$60,000 annually based on experience

Position Summary:
Are you ready to make an impact? As the Member Services Coordinator, you’ll take the lead in fostering member engagement, driving program success, and supporting day-to-day chapter operations. Reporting to the Executive Director, you’ll help guide our technical committees, energize membership initiatives, and contribute to a smooth-running chapter office. This role also involves overseeing vendor relationships and investment accounts, collaborating closely with marketing to ensure everything we create is on-brand and impactful. Your work will be at the heart of what we do, supporting Nebraska’s Heavy Highway industry.

What You’ll Do:

  • Engage Members and Drive Programs:
    • Lead member programs, working with chapter task forces to create and execute initiatives that make a difference.
    • Enhance member offerings through new products and services.
    • Partner with marketing to ensure our brand shines across all materials.
  • Build and Grow Our Community:
    • Drive membership growth with innovative recruitment and onboarding practices.
    • Champion member retention by creating an engaged, cohesive community.
  • Create Impactful Materials:
    • Work with marketing to develop brochures, promotional materials, and other program resources that engage and inform.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships:
    • Maintain vendor files, manage payments, handle online accounts, and oversee credit cards.
  • Support the Executive Team:
    • Provide organizational support for leadership meetings, the Highway Improvement PAC, and manage accounts and special projects alongside the Executive Director.
    • Keep the chapter office well-organized and running efficiently.

Job requirements

What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make a difference and help shape the future of Nebraska’s infrastructure and communities.

  • Experience in membership services, office administration, or a similar role; experience in the construction industry or a nonprofit is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and effective at multitasking
  • Excellent communication skills and a people-first mindset
  • Independent worker who can thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of financial management principles and comfort handling vendor accounts
  • Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office Suite); familiarity with online marketing tools is a plus
  • An associate’s degree is preferred but not required
